Call for Submissions

Engineering a safer future 2026: Design intersection with health

Presentation Formats

  1. Keynote presentation of 30 min

  2. Verbal presentation of 10 min.

  3. Workshop presentation of 30 min.

  4. Poster presentation (during morning tea and lunch)

All selected presenters will receive free registration to attend the symposium.

Selected keynote speakers will be offered free domestic travel for one person.

​Call for Keynote presentations and workshops: 5:00 PM, Friday 17th July.

Submit the following

  • Abstract (max 250 words): Summary of your proposed presentation and its relevance to the symposium

  • Presenter Bio (max 200 words): Brief overview of your background, role, and relevant experience

Submissions will be reviewed for relevance, innovation, clarity, and potential impact.

Notification of acceptance: 14 August 2026

Call for presentations and posters:  5:00PM, Friday 28 August 2026

Submit the following: Abstract (max 250 words): Summary of your proposed presentation and its relevance to the symposium.

For posters, the author is expected to bring a printed poster or mail to the ENZ offices (A1 size).

Notification of acceptance: 11 Sept 2026

That contribute to better health and safety outcomes

Theory and practice

Industry case studies

Demonstrating successful health or safety-focused engineering. Presentations may include case studies, data insights, or design walkthroughs 

Innovative engineering solutions

That prioritize safety in design and execution
